Here is the review for Ilia Lip Oil that no one asked for, but I am going to give it to you anyways. This Lip oil is one of the best I’ve used. Hang on, it’s pricey though. Just like everything else in the year 2024. However, I have been willing to shell out $26 just for one 0.14oz bottle (that’s 4.3ml, people!). It’s come in six different colors; Only you, Petals, Tahiti, Maybe Violet, Linger and Saint. The texture is not oily or sticky, but it does feel slightly cushioning on the lips. Unlike other big brands, Ilia Lip oil does not leave your lips crusty after 1 or 2 hours. It maintains that smooth feeling. However, this wouldn’t be an honest review if I was not honest. There is one major defect about this product, it leaks. As in, it will defy gravity to leak. I keep a bottle standing upright on my bathroom counter and it still leaks. My PhD from Google led me to the conclusion that it has something to do with the pressure differential between the inside and outside of the bottle that causes the product to leak through a gap, if there is one. I’ve checked and checked, and the stopper is not loose and I make sure to close it tightly. I’ve abandoned my quest to find a solution. I can only hope that Ilia will fix this issue soon. From my understanding, it is a common problem among others who have reviewed this product. Because it is such a good product, I continue to use it. I typically keep a tube in my purse that is wrapped up in Kleenex to reduce the staining inside my purse. I’ve attached a picture of what the bottle typically looks like. Ilia, I hope you take this matter seriously, and fix this issue as I absolutely love this product and highly recommend it to others.
